William Settler Hunt

William Settler Hunt passed away suddenly at his home on December 11, 2022. Will was born to Settler Hunt, Jr. and Nancy Louise King January 4, 1981.

Will grew up in Lake View, SC where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a jack of all trades and particularly enjoyed construction and electrical work.

Will eventually settled in Lincolnton, NC. He attended Freedom Church. He worked at The Meating Place where he was a butcher, sandwich connoisseur, and maintenance man. He was a friendly guy who never met a stranger. He loved to make people smile.

Surviving Will are: his dad Settler Hunt Jr. (Sharon); daughter Gabbrella Bass; brothers: Jonathan Hunt (Shanna) and Aaron Hunt; sisters: Hillary Johnson, Casey Hunt, Angela Degraw (Raymond), and Savannah Hunt; and special friend and mentor Mark Ingle.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 pm, Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Cooke Funeral Home in Lake View, SC. There will be a memorial service at 6:00 pm immediately following visitation.
