Wallace Davis

Mr. Wallace Davis died Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at MUSC Health Marion after a brief illness.

A graveside service will be Friday, October 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Lake View Cemetery, directed by Cooke Funeral Home.

Mr. Davis was born in Lake View, February 2, 1939, the son of the late John Benjamin and Eula Hayes Bryant. He was the owner of Davis Trucking of Lake View until his retirement. He was also a member of the local Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Mullins SC.

He is survived by his wife, Carrie B. Davis; sons, John L. Davis (Vivian) and Billy Davis (Lesette); daughter, Rachel Gorbea; grandchildren, Madison Michelle Davis, Johnathon Davis, Sarai Lopez (Josiah), Amy Cook (Matt), and Jamie Haymore; 9 great grandchildren; nephew, James Bo Davis; nieces, Marilyn Thompson, Sherry Davis Miller of Florence, Linda Davis Burns of Charlotte, and Teresa Davis Goins of Maxton.
