Mr. Scott Elton McLean, 46, died Wednesday, January 30, 2019 after a short illness at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A funeral service will be Saturday, February 2 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Lake View. Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery, directed by Cooke Funeral Home. The family will receive friends, Friday, February 1 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Lake View.

He was born May 3, 1972 in Camden SC. He was raised in Lake View, SC and lived in Lumberton, NC. He worked at Pier 41 Restaurant in Lumberton. He was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt, also.

Scott is survived by his mother, Doris P. Johnson of Shallotte, NC and by his father, Bobby McLean and Step-Mother Judy McLean of Lake View; sister, Bonnie King and husband, Kenneth King; step sister, Dawn Coleman and husband, Jay Coleman; several Aunts and Uncles; cousins; and will be missed by a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
