Russell D. Huggins

Mr. Russell (Rusty) Dean Huggins, 74, of Lake View, South Carolina, passed away on May 19, 2024, at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.

Russell was born on May 1, 1950, to the late Oliver P. and Evelyn J. Huggins in Mullins, SC. He has lived in Lake View all his life.

Russell attended The Citadel in Charleston, SC. He was employed by Spring Mills Ind as a Supervisor. He was a farmer first and foremost. He loved his farming years and when he was able, he was the hardest worker you would ever meet.

He is survived by his loving wife Nancy P. Huggins; brothers, John Huggins and Greg Huggins (Trudy).

Russell loved Nancy as well as his brothers, John and Greg, and sister, Jean. He also loved his many nieces and nephews.

A service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 3:00pm at Bear Swamp Baptist Church in Lake View, SC. The family will receive friends at 2:00pm in the sanctuary prior to the service.
