PATRICIA ANN KING HAYES

Patricia Ann King Hayes, age 78, died peacefully at her home on December 6, 2025. Born on December 29, 1946, in Mullins, SC, she was the youngest child of the late Eddie King and Grace Norma Harrelson King.

Pat first met Ben at Slate's Diner in the early 1960's. What followed that glorious day led to their marriage on January 14, 1965. Pat dedicated her life to her husband of 60 years and her three children.

She was a member of Lake View Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was involved with the Women's ministries and a great supporter of the Falcon Children's home ministry.

She is survived by her husband Benjamin, three children; David Hayes of Lake View SC, Allen Hayes (Agy) of Angier, NC and Karen Ellis (John) of Dillon SC; six grandchildren Jodi, Samantha, Wesley, Sophie, Emory, Judd; one great grandchild Alfie; and honorary Granny to countless children over the years.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Charles King, Stanley King, William King, Jack King and Leslie King.

Though family and friends are saddened with the loss of Patricia Ann King Hayes, we rejoice in the knowledge she is now with our Heavenly Father.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 10 @ 1pm at Lake View Pentecostal Holiness Church, Lake View, SC. Funeral Service will be at 2pm followed by burial at the Lake View Perpetual Cemetery.
