Ona Booth Gaddy

Mrs. Ona B. Gaddy, 103, died Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at her home in Lake View SC after a short illness.

A funeral service will be Sunday will be Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Piney Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will be at the home, 1630 Brenwood Rd, Lake View. Burial will follow the funeral service at Riverside Cemetery, Dillon.

Mrs. Gaddy was born Jan.14, 1923 in Dillon County, the daughter of the late Robert Fulton and Nancy C. Nicholson Booth. She graduated from Lake View School. She attended Piney Grove Baptist Church. She was awarded the Palmetto Patriot Award from the Lt. Governor in 2010. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her daughter, Brenda Gail.

Mrs. Gaddy is survived by her daughter, Brenda Gail; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Eugene Gaddy; and her infant daughter, Sue Gaddy; sisters, Annie Laura Booth Stephens, Alvenia Booth Glover, and Mary Ada Booth.
