Mrs. Norma Smith Simmons died Saturday, September 2, 2023, at her home in Lake View SC after an illness.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, September 6th at 2:00 pm at Lake View Perpetual Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1:00 at Cooke Funeral Home, prior to the graveside service.

Mrs. Simmons was born in Mullins, SC, the daughter of the late Homer Jake and Pauline Elvington Smith. She was a clerk for the Town of Lake View for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Simmons; sons, Michael Simmons (Michelle) and Brandon Simmons (Liz); daughter, Renee’ Harrelson (Chris); brother, Tony Smith (Frances); sisters, Miriam Carmichael, Connie Graham (Jim), Yvonne Weeks and Marlene Green (Arnold); sister-in-law, Susan Horne (George); 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Steve Simmons.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Lake View and/or Agape Hospice Care.
