Mrs. Nellie M. Flowers died Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Pruitt Health Dillon after an illness.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Kemper Baptist Church of Lake View. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View.

Mrs. Flowers was born in Marion County, the daughter of the late Roshell and Lizzie Lane Miller of Lake View. She was a lifelong member of Kemper Baptist Church and the owner of Lake View Seafood for many years.

Mr. Miller is survived by her daughter, Michelle Britt (Tony); granddaughter, Madelyn (Maddy) Britt, who she always referred to as her Number 1; and special nieces, Cheryl Turner and Darlene Rouse.

Mrs.  Flowers was preceded in death by her husband, Delane Flowers; 7 brothers and 3
sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kemper Baptist Church or First Baptist Church of Lake View.
