Ms. Nancy K. Parker, 64, of Fairmont, died Friday, August 4, 2023, at UNC Health Lumberton, after an illness.
A celebration of life will be Sunday, August 13th, from 3 to 5 pm at the home of Azeleen Walters, 208 W. Thompson Street, Fairmont. The family is receiving friends at the home of Ms. Azeleen this weekend and throughout the week, as well.
Ms. Parker is survived by her son, Jimmy Parker; her mother, Azeleen Walters, granddaughters, Haleigh McClure (Shon) and Elizabeth “Morgan” Parker, 2 great grandchildren, Aislan McClure and Navy McClure, a fur baby, Lucy; brothers, Dean Walters and Jerry Walters (Dru); sister, Phyllis Walters; a special baby sister, Angie Lovin; a host of special nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews of NC, SC and Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Parker; father, Beamon Walters; fur babies, Odie and Tony; and a nephew, Wayne Floyd.
Nancy was a great lover of all animals so the family requests, in lieu of flowers, that any donations be made to the Humane Society of your choice.
