Minnie Jordan “Laronda” Nobles
Minnie Jordan “Laronda” Nobles, 67, of Winston-Salem passed away on September 15th, 2024, at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina after an illness.
Laronda was born February 6th, 1957, in Mullins to the late Carl William Jordan, Sr. and the late Margie Turner Jordan. She was known for her outgoing personality and charm. In her later years, Laronda was extremely fond of crafts; being involved in several craft groups on the internet. She spent much of her time sitting outside of her home in Winston-Salem enjoying nature and chatting with neighbors.
In addition to Laronda’s parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Bill Jordan; her Brother-in-laws, Alvin Nobles and Aubry W. Hardwick; and her husband, Glenn Nobles.
Surviving Laronda are her sons: Dan (Cissy) Cook of Lake View; Tracy Cook of Dillon; Coy “CG” Nobles of Troutman, NC; her daughter: Kasey Nobles of Dillon; her sister: Lanelle (Randy) Moore of Latta; her Sister-in-law: Ethel Nobles; several nieces and nephews; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and other adoptive sons and daughters that called her “Ma” over the years.
Visitation will occur on September 21st, 2024, at Cooke Funeral Home in Lake View from 1PM until 3PM. A funeral service will occur at The First Baptist Church of Lake View on September 21st, 2024, at 4PM. Burial will be a private family affair at a later date.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice home for their love and care. The family also invites you to do a craft with a young or elderly person in Laronda’s honor.
