The Last Ride of a True Cowboy

Mike Causey, devoted husband, daddy, granddaddy, brother, and uncle passed on March 15th, 2018 in his home.

Mike was born June 4th, 1954 to Lee, Jr and Vivian Causey. He was a faithful employee of Sherman Construction Company from 1995 until his retirement in 2016. Some of his favorite things include horses, the color yellow, lemon cake, all things cowboy, old country music, spending time with his friends, but most of all, his family.

Mike was a devoted husband to Susie Caulder Causey for 42 years. He was a loving Daddy to two daughters; Michelle Causey Roberts & Krista Causey Brumbles. He was also a giving granddaddy to four grandkids; Austin Ray Roberts, Allyssa-Taylor Brumbles, Krystian Brylee Brumbles, and Lauryn Daylee Brumbles.

A funeral service will be Sunday, March 18th at 3:00 at First Baptist Church of Lake View. Burial will follow at Lake View Perpetual Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church at 2:00, one hour prior to the funeral service.

After the funeral service, the family will receive guests at 211 W. Canal Road, Sellers SC 29592.
