Rachel B. (Mavis) Miller

Mrs. Mavis Miller died Sunday, August 1, 2021 at her home in Lake View SC, after an illness.

A funeral service will be Wednesday, August 4 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Lake View. Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Aug. 3 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View.

Mrs. Miller was born in Dillon County, the daughter of the late Henry and Lonnie Huggins Byrd. She worked at Dixianna Mills for over 30 years before her retirement.

She is survived by her sons, Billy Ray Miller (Ree) and Richard “Cotton” Miller; daughters, Darlene Rouse (Neil) and Cheryl Turner (Ricky); grandchildren, Blake Rogers (Lauren), David Rouse (Christy), Alan Rouse (Alicia), Charlotte
Cox (Mick), LeAnn Lane (Kris), “Little” Ricky Turner (Heather); 15 Great Grandchildren; Hannah, Emily, Zack, Becca, Allie, Drew, Dylan, Karley, Gunner, Waylon, Lil Charlie, Ashlyn, Reese, Nick and Noah; special niece, Michelle Britt; special great niece Madelyn Britt; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Miller; daughter, Becky Rogers; sister, Eunice Cox; and granddaughters, Billie Jo Miller and Annette Miller.
