Mary Belle Strong

Ms. Mary Belle Strong, 90, died Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Carolinas Hospital System of Marion after an illness.

A funeral service will be Sunday, December 30 at 2:30 at First Baptist Church of Lake View. A private entombment will be at a later date. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 29 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View.

Ms. Strong was born in Marlboro County, the daughter of the late Minnie Strong. She was a member of Lake View Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Christopher Strong, Mary Lynn Strong, Anthony Strong, and Randy Strong; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Strong; and siblings, James. L. Hunt, Minnie Ransom, Jane Jacobs, Ida Locklear, Lizzie Mae Davis and Libby Campbell.
