Mrs. Lessie “Jackie” Connor Carter died Monday, September 26, 2022 at her home in Florence SC.

A graveside service will be Thursday, Sept. 29 at 11:00 a.m at Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View.

Mrs. Carter was born in Robeson County, the daughter of the late Roy and Pearl Tyndall Connor.

She is survived by her son, Jeffery Carter (Doris); daughter, Ann Carter Makris; brothers, Robert Connor, Jimmy Connor, Legrand Connor and Douglas Connor; sisters, Sarah Herring, Evelyn Connor, Nellie McKenzie, Mary Collins and Doris Hammond; grandchildren, Kyle Carter (Amaris), Cole Carter, Harrison C. Makris and Connor Makris; and great grandchildren, Dylan Carter and Calie Carter.

She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters; Sally Connor, Pete Connor and Cathy Connor.
