Lawrence Charles Rogers

Mr. Lawrence Charles Rogers, 69, of Lake View, SC, went to be with his Lord, on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Kemper Baptist Church in Lake View, SC. A visitation will begin at 1:00 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Lake View Cemetery, Lake View, SC.

Charles was born in Dillon County to the late Wacon Thurston Rogers and Sada Kate Rogers. He was a lifelong resident of Dillon County and a member of Lake View First Baptist Church. Charles retired from WIX Filtration Products in Dillon, SC after 20 years of service. He also retired from Elite Lighting in Mullins, SC after 10 years of service.

Charles was an avid lover of horses and numerous farm animals.

Charles is survived by his brothers Victor Rogers (Edith) and Wacon Rogers (Darlene), and his sisters Jo-Ann R. Price (Joe) and Barbara R. Kitchens (Dave). He is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews: Nicole R. Treadway (Scotty), Heather R. Griffin, Kirk Rogers (Lauren), Nicholas Price (Kate), Leighette R. Skipper (Dustin), Amanda P. Denton (Jonathan), Thurston Rogers (Jessica), and Maylyn P. Welch (Brad). He was blessed with many great nieces and nephews. Other very special friends include Lester Ray Garris, Jamie Garris, Kim G. Sanderson, Danny Boy Sanderson, and Abby.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to a Church organization of your choosing.
