Obituary for Laura T. Ford
Mrs. Laura T. Ford, age 85, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025 at her home in Dillon, after an illness.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 10am at Ford Cemetery in Fairmont, North Carolina.
Mrs. Ford was born in Holly Hill, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Cicero H. Turner, Sr, and Gracie Altman Turner. She worked at Floydale Apparel sewing plant for some years before retiring and becoming a homemaker.
Mrs. Laura is survived by her sisters, Gwen Hyatt (Don) of Dillon and Florine Young (John) of Clinton; her brothers, Thomas Turner (Rudeen) of Georgia, and Jerry Turner of Dillon; a special niece Nicki Moody (Brad) and a nephew Ronnie Turner, and also Dinky, Dawn, Tyler, and Larry.
She was predeceased by her husband, Earl Ford, her daughter Candy Ford, and her son Frederick Ford.
