Richard Johnson “Johnny” Miller

Mr. Richard Johnson Miller, 80, died Saturday, September 13, 2025, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee, after an illness.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Lake View Cemetery.

Mr. Miller was born in Lake View, the son of the late Titus Gladstone and Lillian Miller. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was an electrician by trade, and he also operated Karate Studios in both Fairmont and Lumberton. He attended First Baptist Church of Lake View. He loved horses, karate and Alabama Football.

He is survived by a son, Richard Johnson Miller II (Michelle) of Fairmont; a daughter, Caroline Miller Adcock of Lumberton; a brother, Robert Miller (Margie); 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a special friend, Amy Bass.

He was preceded in death by his brother, TJ Miller and a sister, Donnie Fay “Spunk” Miller.
