Mrs. Candace Joanne Sansbury Elvington died Friday, August 1, 2025, at McLeod Hospice House of Florence after an illness.

A graveside funeral will be Monday, August 4th at 3:00 pm at Lake View Perpetual Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the grave site.

Mrs. Sansbury was born in Mullins, SC, the daughter of the late Edgar and Mildred Britt Elvington. She worked for many years for Daniel Construction, performing a wide range of clerical duties.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Laarkamp; sisters, Jean Smith of Lake View and Judy McDaniel of Dillon; 2 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Elvington.
