Jimmy Neil Ford

Mr. Jimmy Neil Ford died Thursday, November 11, 2021 at McLeod Hospice House of Florence after an illness.

A graveside service will be Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Bear Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Cooke Funeral Home, prior to the graveside service.

Mr. Ford was born in Dillon County, the son of the late L. Jackson and Maxine Bullock Ford. He was a Veteran of the US Navy, where he served in Vietnam. He was also a member of Lake View Fire Dept., Dillon County Station #3 Fire Department and Lake View Rescue Squad.

He is survived by his wife, Mary M. Ford of the home; sons, James Ronald of Iowa, and Kenneth Edward of Mullins SC; daughter, Teresa Shepard of Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his son, Wayne.
