Jerry Ravenel Hooks

Jerry Ravenel Hooks (81) died January 16, 2026 at his home in Fork SC, after an illness. 

Mr. Hooks was born in Mullins SC, the son of the late Ansel Brad and Gladys Jewell Hooks. He worked for Daniel Construction for several years. He enjoyed the simpler things in life, and loved to fish.

He is survived by his wife Brenda, of the home; sons, David Hooks (Teresa), Timmy Hooks (Heather) and Tony Hooks (Angie); sister, Betsy Boney; grandchildren, John Hooks, Krista Carter, Andrew Brown, Dayne Hooks, Danny Hooks and Kelly Hooks; and great grandchildren, Hadley Darnell and Kelly Darnell.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lawrence, Hubert, Bobby and Stanley Hooks.

The family will have a private service at a later date.
