Mr. Jeffery Lee Smith died Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at MUSC Charleston after a brief illness.

A funeral service will be Friday, January 8 at 2:00 pm at Lake View Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm on Friday, at the church prior to the funeral service.

Mr. Smith was born in Lumberton NC, the son of the late Jimmy Lee Smith and Betty Collins Smith. He worked for Diversified Plastics of Latta and was a member of Lake View Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Smith of the home; mother, Betty C. Smith; sons, Justis L. Smith, Koby L. Smith (Sarah Catherine Lane) and Brody L. Smith (Tamara Comeil Bethea); grandchildren, Hayden Smith, Callie Smith, Jake Smith, Trinity Smith, Trezure Smith; and sister, Ann Smith Huggins (Robert).

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Smith and a sister, Jill Smith McCrackin.
