James David Bullock

Mr. James David Bullock died Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at McLeod Medical Center of Dillon after an illness.

A funeral service will be Monday, January 2, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Bear Swamp Baptist Church of Lake View. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on January 1 at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View.

Mr. Bullock was born November 12, 1937 in Lake View SC, the son of the late Major and Laura Green Johnson Bullock. He was a member of Bear Swamp Baptist Church and the Marion Tractor Club.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Evelyn Blanton Bullock; daughter, Jamie Ann Parker; sons, Christopher Bullock (Allison) and Sean Bullock (Jackie); sisters, Marjorie Hutchinson and Opal Simmons (Michael); 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Bullock and Kenny Wayne Bullock; sister Betty O’Connor; grandson, David Bullock; and great grandson, Braxton Conrad.
