Mrs. Hilda Jane Leggett died Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at her home in Fairmont NC after an illness.

A memorial service will be Saturday, June 10th at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Lake View. The family will receive friends Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral service.

Mrs. Leggett was born in Washington State, the daughter of the late Herman and Hilda Barfield Williamson.

She is survived by her husband, Jack “Jay” Leggett; son, Nicholas Lee Leggett (Vallery); daughters, Melissa Hope Owens, Amanda Michelle Owens, and Kimberly Leggett, sister, Kathy Williamson; and 9 grandchildren.
