Mr. James Hayes Barfield

Mr. Hayes Barfield died Sunday, October 18, 2020 at his home in Marion SC after an extended illness.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, October 21 at 3:00 p.m. at Kemper Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View.

Mr. Barfield was born November 24, 1940, the son of the late James Clifford and Magnolia Moody Barfield.

Surviving Mr. Barfield are his wife, Melanie; stepsons, Spencer Peele (Angela), Matthew Peele, Barry Byrd (Kristi), Andrew Peel, and his adopted son, Jeremiah Barfield (Chris); sisters, Ann Barfield of Lake View of Lake View, Ruth Barfield Strickland of Lake View, and Betty Miller (Wayne) of Dillon.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Amedisys Hospice and Ieshia Freitas.
