Hal Cook

Mr. Hal Cook, 94, died Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at his home in Lake View SC after an illness.

A funeral service will be Friday, May 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Bear Swamp Baptist Church of Lake View. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 19 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View.

Mr. Cook was born in Robeson County, the son of the late Freeland and Maggie Spivey Cook. He was a Veteran of the US Navy where he served in World War II. He was also a member of Bear Swamp Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Rita Cook Ford (Danny); granddaughters, Jessica Ford, Bobbie Cook Page (Keith), Betty Smith, and Ramona Barnhill (Jeremy); great granddaughters, Alexis Page, Karleigh Page, Taylor Smith, Madison Hammonds, and Kaylee Hammonds; great great grandson, Archer Page; and brother, Homer Cook

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian H. Cook; his son, Raymond Cook; and brother, Alton Cook.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bear Swamp Baptist Church of Lake View.
