Mr. Walter Gene Flowers, 82, died Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Bennettsville Health and Rehabilitation Center after an illness.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, September 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at Kemper Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday September 22nd, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View.

Mr. Flowers was born in Robeson County, the son of the late Calvin and Sadie Faulk Flowers. He retired from Carmichael Gas Company where he delivered gas for many years to area residents and businesses.

He is survived by his two sons, Junior Flowers and Cameron Flowers; 5 grandchildren, Gina, Wesley, Breanna, Dakota and Sierra; and 3 great grandchildren, Bentley, Calvin and Gaddison.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Flowers; and 5 siblings, Shirley Campbell, Buddy Flowers, Delane Flowers, Lucille Rouse, and Jimmy Flowers.
