Effie Elliott

Mrs. Effie Elliott died Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of Florence, after an illness.

A funeral service will be Friday, October 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Kemper Baptist Church of Lake View. Burial will follow at Lake View Perpetual Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral service.

Mrs. Elliott was born in Mullins, the daughter of the late Lacy and Inez Rogers Hutchinson.

She is survived by her partner, Jerry Hayes; nieces, Penny Piner (Buddy) and Bobbi Mitchell (Michael); nephew, John Garris; great nieces and nephews, Mikaela Mitchell, Nate Mitchell, Alex Mitchell, Trent Garris, and Sydney Garris.

She was preceded in death by Roger and Eugene Hutchinson, and Betty Garris.
