Brenda Morrow Kissam

Mrs. Brenda Morrow Kissam, age 64 of Fairmont NC, passed away on March 10, 2025, at her home. She was born on December 29, 1960, in Fort Campbell, KY.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 23 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Geraldine Morrow; and a brother, Robert Wayne Morrow.

She is survived by her husband, John Wyman Kissam; two daughters, Meagan Kissam and Holly Smith (Ricky); a stepdaughter, Casey Kissam Bell (Nathan); a son, Shane Kissam; and two brothers, Mike Morrow and Steve Morrow.

She was a loving grandmother to Braylen, Cullen, Dawson, Rivers, Lakes and Banks. She enjoyed spending time with all of them.

She enjoyed spending hours in the sun, planting flowers and watching them grow, and reading as a pastime. She had a special love for animals, both big and small, and there was always room for one more at her home.

She was a friend to many and never met a stranger. She could talk to anyone about anything.

She leaves to cherish her memories with numerous family and friends who will miss her dearly. Her infectious laugh and beautiful smile will not be forgotten.
