Boston Buford Page Jr, 82, of Lake View, went home to be with His Lord & Savior Friday evening, June 26, 2026. He was surrounded by family & friends.

A funeral service will be Monday, June 29th at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Lake View. Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 28th at First Baptist Church from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Boston was born on September 10,1943, son of the late Boston B. Page Sr. & Nellie Thompson Page. He was preceded in death by his son, Boston “P-Nut” Buford Page 111, brother Jack Page, 4 sisters- Alvinia Allen, Evelyn Smith, Alice Jackson & Nellie Miller.

The surviving family members include his wife of 62 years, Margaret Lee Page of the home, daughter Kelly Page Price; grandchildren Boston (BB) Buford Page IV (Marie), Jessica “Nikki” Nicole Page, Hunter Bryson Greene (Kaley), Madison “Baby Girl” Page Greene; great-grands Mia Grace Page, Bryar Jace Greene (mom Taylor Benton) and Harley “Case” Thompkins.

Boston was a generous man who was loved by all who were lucky enough to know him. He is best known for being the LV Wild Gators loudest cheerleader. For those who attended games will always remember the sound of his voice, cheering his Wild Gators on to victory. He attended LVHS where he played tackle #81. His love for football extended past LVHS. He was a loyal Gamecock fan (40th consecutive Gamecock member in the books 2026).

He learned electrical & plumbing from Romy Elvington. Went to work for Hayes Hardware, them eventually became self employed & started his own business “Boston Page Electric”. He worked most Saturdays at Blockade Runner for 30 years but he was mostly honored to serve as LV’s Mayor for 20 years.

After many years of working, he retired to care for his sister Polly Johnson. He also cared for sister Evelyn for several years before her passing & his sister-in-law Jessie Simpson.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Ken & Joyce Dean Miller, Laura Watts, Jack Horne & Logan Hunt, Morgan Hicks PA-C, Hannah Miller Edwards and all the staff of Agape Hospice.
