Betty Sue Hayes Moody

Mrs. Betty Sue Hayes Moody, 82 years old of Lake View, SC died at home surrounded by her children, their spouses and grandchildren after a long illness. 

Visitation will be held at Cooke Funeral Home in Lake View on July 28, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held July 29th, 2026, at 11 AM at Lake View Perpetual Cemetery. 

Betty Sue was the daughter of the late Johnny and Betty Hayes. She enjoyed fellowshipping with people and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing. She was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Betty Sue is survived by her children: Susie (Stevie) Roberts, Ron Moody, Vickie (Billy) King, Pierce (Jennifer) Moody, Grandchildren Audrey (Jonathan) Barnes, Jordan (Grace) King, Robert Pierce Moody, Jenny Reese Moody, John Lincoln Moody, Great grandchildren Riley Barfield, JR Barnes, Parker Barnes. 

She was preceded by her loving husband Maurice Moody, her parents, and several brothers and sisters.
