Mrs. Betty L. Elliott (84) died Friday, March 20, 2026, at McLeod Hospice House after an illness.

A graveside service will be on Tuesday, March 24th at 2:00 p.m. at Hayestown Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, March 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View.

Mrs. Elliott was born in Fork, SC, the daughter of the late Robert Wilbur and Iona Ivey Anderson. Along with helping her husband on the farm, she loved to sew and she sewed not only for her family, but the surrounding community as well.

She is survived by her sons, Danny Ray Elliott, Kenneth Elliott (Elaine), Tracey Elliott (Janet), Allen Elliott (Pat); daughter, Rebecca Miller; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and multiple great great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Elliott, 3 sons, Braxton Elliott, Howard Elliott, Windol Elliott; and all of her siblings.
