Mrs. Ann L. Britt died Friday, April 8, 2022 in her home in Fairmont NC after an illness.

A memorial service will be Sunday, April 10 at 3:00 pm at Bethesda United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 at the church, prior to the memorial service.

Mrs. Britt was born in Robeson County, the daughter of the late Proctor Wayne and Hilda Sealy Leggett. She retired from Rosenwald Elementary School after 30 years. She was a lifelong member of Bethesda UMC where she also worked as the church secretary since her retirement from the school system.

She is survived by her sons, Tony Britt (Michelle), John Britt (Alexa) and David Scott (Cindy); sister, Brenda Tracey, sister in laws; Diane Lovin and Brenda Leggett; brother in law, Phil Britt; and 6 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Britt and her brother, Proctor Wayne Leggett, Jr.
